Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Office Assistant located in San Francisco, California. This role requires you to take on the responsibility of office administration tasks, customer service, and event coordination in a busy office environment. Responsibilities: Coordinate with vendors to ensure smooth office operations Set up meetings and lunches as required Greet and assist guests visiting the office Oversee and manage office setup for various events and meetings Maintain an organized and welcoming office environment Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries Utilize your skills in Office Administration to maintain efficient office systems Play a key role in event coordination, ensuring all details are managed and executed efficiently Proactively perform other administrative duties as required. Strong Customer Service skills, with a proven ability to effectively handle client inquiries and complaints, as well as build and maintain positive relationships with clients or customers. Experience in Event Coordination including planning, organizing, and coordinating events such as meetings, conferences, and office parties. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals. Proficiency in using standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, and fax machines. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion. High school diploma or equivalent education level required, with a preference for candidates who have completed some college coursework in business administration or a related field. Prior experience in an administrative or office assistant role is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures as required. Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment, effectively managing stress and maintaining a positive attitude. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make effective decisions. High standard of professional conduct and adherence to workplace policies and procedures.
