Wanted: In-Home Caregiver for elderly female, 2 days or 2 nights

WANTED: In-home caregiver, private W2 hire, Wasilla. Looking to fill 1. Friday and Saturday 8a-4p and 2. Friday and Saturday overnight 9p-8a. There may be some flexibility about which 2 days.

Elder Client: She has arthritic hands so she needs lots of help, but she can still walk around the house with a walker and get out of certain chairs on her own. She's had falls, is forgetful, and gets confused, but she's healthy for her age, a non-smoker, and takes no prescriptions.

Her Caregiver schedule:

She has had a caregiver from 8a-4p every day for about a year now. We've recently added the 9p-8a night shift.

Caregiver candidate: Must be an experienced caregiver with experience working in a home setting and working with dementia clients. The ideal candidate is female, kind, gentle, upbeat, patient, dependable, enjoys meal planning and cooking. Non-smoker. Must provide work history and references. Must pass background checks.

Services needed include light housekeeping; assistance with bathing, dressing, and transfers; meal preparation, and companionship.

Hours: 2 openings. 1. Day shift for 2 days: Friday and Saturday 8am-4pm. 2. Night shift for 2 nights: Friday and Saturday 9p-8am. There may be some flexibility about which 2 days.

W2 employment with PTO. Hourly rate $20-$30, DOE
