Security Officers - Part/Time/Rovers

MULTIPLE JOB OPENINGS

GSSi, Inc., a 4th generation family owned security company headquartered in Wilmington CA is seeking applicants who are seeking part-time security work for retail locations in the greater LA area. This is not a loss prevention position, this is an observe and report/customer service position.

Most locations have 2 days, full 8 hour shifts, available.

Some of the locations with part-time openings:

Rolling Hills Estates

Long Beach

Garden Grove

Mission Hills

Monrovia

Santa Monica

West Hollywood

Basic Duties:

1. Maintain presence/observation/surveillance of key areas

2. Complete daily report of activity and observations

3. Avoid verbal/physical confrontations

4. Customer Service/Public relations/Greet customers and provide information

Pay Rate $17.75-$18.00 per hour

Schedule: Varies by post, typically dayshift and swing shift, no graveyard, contact office to inquire.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Valid BSIS guard card

2. Ability to work weekends, holidays, OT

3. Reliable transportation to and from the job site

4. Ability to walk, stand, sit for extended periods

5. Good customer service skills

6. Good written/verbal communication skills
