We are a busy and established Commercial Construction Plumbing Company with an open office environment. We are seeking a qualified candidate with a fun/friendly attitude and previous construction experience that will thrive in our successful team.

The Project Submittals & Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for working with the Project Manager and Field Personnel to effectively complete projects under budget and on schedule through submittals and procurement of material for the projects. This position allows one to: work independently and as a group, exercise discretion, learn and grow with plenty of room for advancement in the company.

Typical duties/daily activities to include:

Creating submittal packages per Contract documents.

Dispersing submittals to and communicating with Clients regarding the submittal packages.

Tracking, following up with and filling submittal revisions and/or approvals.

Making submittal revisions based on Architect's comments.

Creating Change Orders based on Architect's comments if specifications differ from the Contract documents.

Working with Vendors to retrieve quotes for material based on approved submittals.

Using discretion to purchase the most cost-effective material based on the project needs.

Communicating with Vendors and Field Personnel for material needs and delivery.

Warehouse Material Management. Shipping/Receiving. Some heavy lifting required. Inventory.

Required Personal Skills:

Professionalism in dealing with Clients, Architects, Co-Workers and Vendors.

Exceptional ability to multi-task, prioritize, and execute completion of tasks with quality.

Preparedness to handle a fast-paced work environment.

Preferred Experience:

Background in the construction industry.

Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Bluebeam/Adobe Acrobat

Ability to read and interpret plans/blueprints is a plus

Benefits & Pay:

The company pays medical & dental for employees after 60 days of employment.

8 paid holidays

1 week of vacation

1 week of sick pay after 90 days of employment.

Pay depends on experience.

Hours: Full-time Monday through Friday 7:00 am -3:30 pm
