Glass (Construction) Installer

Construction experience is helpful, but not required - we are willing to train the right person. Your starting pay is based on your experience and skill set. We promote from within, so your responsibilities and position expand as you gain knowledge and experience.

Regardless of experience we have to train you in the "PMG" way - all new hires will be paired with an experienced Lead installer

You must either currently live on Kauai to be eligible for this job. Please only apply if you meet this criteria

Job Openings:

1. Entry-Level Technician:

-Starting Pay: $23-25.00/hr

-No previous construction experience

-You will be responsible to assist the Lead Installer in all aspects of work

-Assist in keeping shop, jobsite, and work vans clean and organized

-We will focus on training you in shop work and basic installations

-Your role will expand as you gain time and experience - ideally, every entry-level tech will eventually become a Lead Installer

2. Mid-Level Installer:

-Starting Pay: $25.00-$30.00/hr + (Depending on experience)

-You would fit this role if you have 3-5 years of construction experience, can work independently, can read a tape measure, and have general grasp of construction practices.

-You would initially be paired with a Lead installer for training - however in 6-12 months you should be able to start working independently in some areas.

-Your role will expand as you gain time and experience - ideally, every mid-level tech will become Lead Installer

Skills:

-Must enjoy detail-oriented "finish" work

-Enjoy challenges - our work changes day-by-day

-Able to lift 75 lbs. (regular lifting is required) and enjoy physical labor

-Have some experience with hand and power tools (helpful, but not required)

-Carpentry skills are a plus (but not required)

-Be a team-player and dependable

-Willing to learn new skills and be trained

-BE POSITIVE!
