Join our team and chart your own uniquely United career journey!Key Responsibilities:Develop and deliver an innovative recruitment strategy for United’s talent needs. Responsible for leading a team of recruiters, tasked with the sourcing and recruiting processes necessary to fill open or anticipated positions. Provide ongoing leadership, coaching and direction to team. Create and promote sourcing strategies and lead talent acquisition projects. Meet regularly with leaders to maintain relationships and understand overall talent needs. Design and share scorecards to keep leaders apprised of status and progress of talent initiatives. Manage an active requisition load as well as manage a pipeline of passive candidates at all times. Will partner with our People Impact team and other groups to represent United brand at career fairs, community and civic events. This individual is a team player and collaborator who will actively contribute to the evolution of the Talent Acquisition group.

Manage an active requisition load as well as manage a pipeline of passive candidates at all times. Create and promote sourcing strategies and lead innovative talent acquisition projects that will facilitate the continuous improvement of internal talent attraction and talent movement processes across the enterprise

Partner with our HR Business Partners and People Impact team to define and address diversity, equity, and inclusion opportunities for our internal clients, as well as represent the United brand at career fairs, community and civic events

The salary for this position is $91,800 to $134,640, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. 4+ years experience in talent acquisition and/or human resources

Comprehensive knowledge of recruiting and operations practices, programs, and plans

Detailed knowledge of employment laws and regulations

Ability to create and maintain an inclusive environment to promote an effective, reliable team

Ability to create and deliver a convincing narrative through data and metrics

Ability to develop sourcing strategies for large-scale staffing projects

Ability to effectively build relationships with leaders and navigate a multi-layered environment

Customer-focused mindset

Experience with high-volume recruiting in a Corporate or Operations environment

Proactive, resourceful, collaborative and self-motivated

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

Ability to leverage technologies such as applicant tracking systems, virtual interview platforms, Microsoft Office, and social media to improve efficiency and efficacy

Ability to effectively manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment

Ability to travel up to 40% or as needed

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

At least two years of people leadership experience

PHR or SHRM certification

Process and/or Project Management skills

Skills in Taleo, Phenom, and LinkedIn
