Who We Want: Accountant
We are looking for an experienced Accountant who believes in our mission, shares in our core values, and wants to grow with the team and within their position. We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude who works well with upper management. Candidates should be able to work with others, work independently and have a thirst for personal and professional growth.
Duties / Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Cost Accounting:
o Develop, implement, and maintain cost accounting systems and processes.
o Analyze and report on cost variances and provide insights to support decision-making.
o Monitor and control cost allocations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
o Assist with payroll administration and reconciliations.
Balance Sheet Reconciliation:
o Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheet reconciliations.
o Identify and resolve discrepancies and ensure all accounts are reconciled in a timely manner.
o Prepare and review detailed reconciliation reports for management review.
Multi-Company Financial Management:
o Oversee financial transactions and reporting across multiple entities within the organization.
o Manage intercompany transactions and related party agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
o Coordinate with external auditors and internal teams to ensure proper documentation and reporting.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
o Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
o Provide financial analysis and insights to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
o Assistance with customer invoicing and client set up as needed.
Compliance and Internal Controls:
o Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
o Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Qualifications to Join Our Team:
Proven experience with cost accounting, multi-company with related party transactions, and balance sheet
reconciliation.
Project management experience, e.g., with software revision/etc.
Proactive communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and a desire to grow into a Group Controller role.
Experience with collections support is a plus.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Minimum five years of experience in accounting with a focus on cost accounting and balance sheet reconciliation.
Proven experience managing multi-company financial operations and related party transactions.
Technologically savvy with proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office platforms.
Familiarity with Quickbooks.
ERP system experience is a plus.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in dynamic environments.

Depending on demonstrated experience, the salary will start at $75,000.00 per year, plus merit increases and performance bonuses.
