Mobile Tire Technician

As a Mobile Tire Technician, you will be the backbone of our roadside support operations, ensuring that our fleet of trucks and trailers are in top condition.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform on-site tire/wheel repairs and replacements on semi-trucks and trailers at our San Francisco, Benicia, and Sacramento yards.

- Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls and mechanical emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

- Conduct thorough inspections of tires to identify issues and provide solutions.

- Maintain and repair tire-related equipment and tools.

- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.

- Collaborate with dispatch and other team members to prioritize and schedule service requests.

- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies while on duty.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a tire technician, preferably with heavy-duty or commercial vehicles.

- Strong knowledge of tire repair and replacement techniques for trucks and trailers.

- Ability to diagnose tire issues quickly and accurately.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL is a plus.

- Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations.

- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

- Willing to work all hours and be on-call as needed. Occasional nights and weekends.
