Job Description:

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting our clients with various technical issues. From remote support to on-site visits, you will engage with customers, troubleshoot problems, and provide prompt solutions. Your expertise, customer service skills, and willingness to learn will contribute to the success of our clients and our company.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to clients via remote assistance, addressing issues related to computer operating systems, firewall setup, internet connectivity, internal networking, and basic internet technologies.

Support users with email, web services, and domain services, ensuring their smooth operation and troubleshooting any related problems.

Assist in the maintenance and management of VoIP servers, virtual servers, collocation, and WAN networks.

Utilize effective communication and phone skills to provide clear instructions and support to end-users.

Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, ensuring client satisfaction and building positive relationships.

Be available for dispatch to on-site locations for computer support, VoIP installations, and cabling projects.

Embrace a continuous learning mindset, staying updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.

Be flexible with working hours, including nights and weekends, to accommodate after-hours service calls (paid as 1.5x comp time).

Requirements:

Basic understanding of computer operating systems, firewall setup and management, internet connectivity, and internal networking concepts.

Familiarity with basic internet technologies such as email and web services.

Certifications such as N+, CCNA, or CISSP are a plus.

Strong phone skills and the ability to provide clear instructions to end-users.

Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to client satisfaction.

Willingness to be dispatched for on-site work, including computer support, VoIP installations, and cabling. Must have a car and a valid driver's license.

Strong willingness to learn and expand technical knowledge.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
