job detailsjob summary:Implementation Services Engineer position works with project teams, software developers, application support, environment coordinators, environment support, deployment teams, security, and other IT teams to support the delivery of IT business solutions. They are assigned to application stack(s) to focus on the health of the systems and deliver functionality to projects. Works with system owner/project teams/support to insure system issues are addressed as projects move through the development lifecycle toward Production implementation. Assist with creation and coordination of detailed system, application, data, and server build plans. Coordinate regular status meetings with System Owner and application teams. Create and coordinate detailed installation plans.Work with software developers, system operators and other production IT staff to oversee code releases. The role calls for someone who has the necessary hard and soft skills that are required to overcome the traditional barriers between software development, testing and operations teams. The engineer must know how to manage the IT infrastructure that's needed to support software code in dedicated, multi-tenant or hybrid cloud environments. May be required to provision required resources, and select an appropriate deployment model.This person is going to be working closely w/the team for possibly a couple different role. This group supports Non production environments. They currently have 8 or 9 people that rotate that run test scripts that checks the status of the non-prod environments. This person would be the point person to check the health of the non prod environments first thing in the morning. Opens any 'incidents' and then would escalate the incident based on priority. There is a daily 9:00 call to give updates. This person needs to on line no later than 8:00 am CT, 7:00 am is preferable.Change window from 10 to 12 every day, process repeats to check and create any 'incident's as needed. This person will help alleviate these items from the team. They could be executing implementation plans as time allows.
