Interior Designer

Architectural Concepts, Inc., specializing in the design and development of Senior Housing Communities and Health Care Facilities throughout the country, is seeking an Interior Designer to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment. Statewide and some regional travel is required. The ability to analyze and recognize importance of Life Safety and Code issues is crucial. Standard benefit package is included. The candidate will work with the architectural project team, support design, development and documentation for all phases of projects, and help meet all deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop project design and documentation

Develop finish material palettes and presentation materials

Choose FF&E specifications and materials

Maintain the sample library

Conduct material and product research for projects

Work in close collaboration with Project Managers and overall project teams

Requirements:

A professional degree in architecture and/or interior design

3+ years professional experience including detailing experience

Strong Technical, Interpersonal, Organizational and Creative skills

Knowledgeable in a range of FF&E, Architectural and Interior Finishes and the Senior Health Care Industry

Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Design Suite and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong Graphic, Written and Verbal Communication skills

Knowledge of Design Tools, Construction Materials Application, Manufacturer/Supplier Appropriateness

Knowledge of Assembling a Full Set of Construction Documents
