Shipping Specialist - Luna Sandals!
Vacancy expired!
LUNA Sandals is a small and growing adventure sandal manufacturer with a worldwide fan base. If you’ve read the best selling book “Born to Run” by Christopher McDougall, you’ve met our founder, Barefoot Ted. Founded in Seattle in 2010, LUNA Sandals helped pioneer the “zero drop” and “minimalist” running and hiking footwear category that was born along with brands like Altra and Vibram Fivefingers. Learn more about us at www.lunasandals.com.
We make a full line of adventure, running, and traditional sandals using the highest quality materials and processes. We strive to make super comfortable footwear that promotes foot health and encourages users to spend time enjoying the outdoors. We often say we are like “Surfers making surfboards” because we also love to use the tools we make and learn how to improve designs through experience and adventures.
We have been producing all of our sandals in our Seattle “factories” for the last 10 years, but we are very excited to announce that we will be moving our USA production facility to the Eastern Cascades in January 2021. Our new USA production facility and warehouse will be in Wenatchee, Washington in a refurbished fruit storage building. Now instead of apples, we’ll be growing sandals!
As one of Luna’s original founding members, Scott Smuin will head this facility. Scott fell in love with the Eastern Cascades over a decade ago and immigrated to Cashmere nearly 4 years ago. As a company, we are following his lead: We are stoked to become part of the Wenatchee community!
We are looking for two key team members (this position, plus a Production Specialist) to help us make the transition to our new facility and to be anchor employees in establishing the success of our production department here in Wenatchee.
