Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to join our team on a part-time basis, specifically for Sundays and Mondays. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record in managing a team, excellent communication skills, and expertise in using the RESY app for guest management. This role requires a responsible individual who can report to the owners, handle key-holding duties, and ensure smooth operations during their shifts.

Key Responsibilities Below:

Team Management:

- Lead and motivate the restaurant team to deliver exceptional service.

- Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate daily objectives and ensure team alignment.

- Provide ongoing training and support to staff members.

Operations Management:

- Oversee the dining floor to ensure efficient and effective service.

- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Guest Communications:

- Expertly use the RESY app to manage reservations, guest seating, and optimize table turnover.

- Ensure excellent communication with guests regarding reservations, wait times, and special requests.

Reporting and Key-Holding Duties:

- Report directly to the owners with updates on daily operations, staff performance, and guest feedback.

- Handle key-holding responsibilities, including opening and closing the restaurant.

- Ensure the security and proper handling of restaurant keys and access points.

Experience:

- Experience in key-holding and reporting to senior management.

Skills:

- Proficiency in using the RESY app and other reservation management systems.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
