We are a growing private office in the downtown Beaverton area in search of a hygienist that is looking for a practice to call home. We are also committed to nurturing a comfortable, positive, hardworking environment while still having fun doing what we love. We believe that each team member is a specialist at their role and we all simply have different roles with no hierarchy. We are always open to reasonable feedback that will improve our team and patient experience.

We are looking for a hygienist to offer more appointment options for our growing pool of great patients. Our practice is focused on nurturing long term relationships with our patients through education and improvement. We believe that each patient is unique and viewed as holistically as possible. We believe in educating our patients to make well informed decisions to achieve optimal dental health and do not let production dictate our treatment plans.

We are currently open Tuesdays 7-6pm, Wednesdays 9-3pm, and Thursdays 7-5pm with plans to open Mondays and expand our Wednesdays in the future. We are open to discussing modifying work days and hours for the short term on a case by case basis. We ask that hygienists must have a local anesthetic endorsement on record with the OR Dental Board.

Core responsibilities and skills include:

A can-do, positive attitude with great communication and team working skills.

Willing to take x-rays, break down and set up treatment rooms while maintaining a clean work environment.

Running sterile and set up patient trays.

Evaluating patient home care and screening patient for dental and periodontal risk factors.

Have an growth mindset, be creative, flexible, and navigate different routes towards the common end goal; good oral health.

Propose evidence based periodontal treatment plans that improve patient’s oral and overall health.

Develop individual prevention plans for each patient and coaching patients to improve their oral health at each visit.

Comfortably discussing treatment recommendations with patients.

Charting periodontal, pre-existing, and treatment plans.

Hygiene and preventative procedures.
