Job Title: Construction Laborer - Night ShiftJob DescriptionWill be working at TSMC. Main scope of work involves moving heavy machinery and general labor in a fast-paced environment. Use miscellaneous rigging equipment to install process tools (semiconductor equipment) and pedestals (metal support structures) into a clean room environment while maintaining a cleanliness standard exceeding that of a hospital operating room. Employees will be expected to transport delicate equipment in an operational clean room factory with extremely tight clearances while adhering to all OSHA and customer safety standards. Responsibilities include working in the fab to disassemble tools and on the dock, which can be hot in the summer since it is an open area, where equipment will be unloaded, uncrated, and moved into dedicated wipe-down areas for installation into the clean room factory.Hard Skills

Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Phoenix, Arizona.Work EnvironmentTSMC is a new construction site. Must be comfortable working outdoors in the heat. The site is all dirt with no paved roadways yet. Will move equipment into buildings, so workers will be covered while indoors, but there is no air conditioning inside. Shift involves 60-hour work weeks, working 10-12 hour days (sometimes 13-14 hours depending on schedule). Work hours are 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Saturday, with every third Saturday off. The role requires a lot of walking, averaging about 25,000 steps per day (equivalent to 11+ miles). Must have steel toe boots. First day involves going to the office at 8 am for orientation and drug screening, with a 2-3 day wait for drug screen results before starting at the TSMC site.
