We are backed by a large healthcare network in thecomplex and rewarding fieldadvanced laboratory scienceYour voice is heard, and with that, you have an ability to make an impact on the organization and influence your professional growth.STATUS: Full TimeLOCATION: RemoteDEPARTMENT: Information TechnologySCHEDULE: ATTRIBUTESBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.5+ years of experience in database administration, data engineering, and reporting roles.Master's degree preferred.Proficient in SQL and database management.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with cloud-based data storage solutions and tools.Proven experience working with SQL Server, Azure, and Snowflake.Experience with business intelligence tools like Qlik Sense or Power BI. Experience with data migration tools such as Informatica is a plus.Demonstrated experience in managing projects and mentoring team members.Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniquesExperience participating in an on-call rotation and providing after-hours supportAbility to lead and manage initiatives within their area of expertise.RESPONSIBILITIES Database Administration/Engineering Design, implement, and maintain SQL Server databases to ensure data integrity, security, and optimal performance. Monitor and manage database performance, conducting regular tuning and optimization.Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions are in place for critical systems.Develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures such as databases and large-scale data processing systems.Build data pipelines to support data integration from various sources, including on-premise systems and cloud platforms like Azure and Snowflake. Implement and maintain ETL processes for efficient data movement and transformation. Plan and execute data migration projects, ensuring data quality and consistency during transitions between systems. Utilize tools like Informatica to automate and streamline data migration processes. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data migration activities. Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools such as Qlik, PowerBI, or Tableau. Perform data analysis to support business decisions, providing actionable insights based on trends and patterns.Cross-Functional Communication Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deploy data models that support analytical and reporting requirements.Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: L - Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly; requires occasional walking, standing or squatting.PAY RANGE: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future.
