The Patient Care Coordinator works alongside the clinical staff to ensure efficient patient service within the department.Hours : Monday - Friday, 7:30am-4pmLocation : 1145 Broadway St. Seattle, WA 98122Role Type: Full-Time Hybrid (after training period)If you reside in Seattle, WA, you will enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid-remote role as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:

First point of contact for our patients. Sets the tone for a positive experience

Exhibits empathy, courtesy, competence, efficiency and care

Schedules appointments and procedures, following standard guidelines

Uses Multiple computer and phone systems to fulfill patient needs over phone

Verifies patient information, while documenting in their Electronic Health Record (EPIC)

Advises patients of their responsibilities regarding insurance and referral information

Performs outreach calls to the patients to help get the patients scheduled for screenings

High School Diploma / GED (or higher)

1+ years of customer service experience

Must reside within a commutable distance of the office location

Preferred Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in a medical office or clinic setting

Previous experience with appointment scheduling within a medical office or call center type role

UCB/ACD Desktop phone system experience

Previous experience with EMR systems, prefer EPIC

A basic knowledge of medical terminology

Experience or knowledge of insurance/prior authorizations
