Friendly, organized assistant sought for immediate placement in a periodontal office in beautiful Alameda. Our small, private practice fosters a warm and collegial atmosphere. The office is modern and efficient, and we’ve undertaken considerable measures to ensure the health and safety of our staff. We pride ourselves on high standards of ethics and quality of care, rather than volume.

Experience with dentistry is not required. We will provide on-the-job training for a candidate with the right personality. Duties include:

Chairside assisting for periodontal surgeries

Sterilizing instruments

Managing inventory

Taking dictation

Light janitorial services

The ideal candidate demonstrates:

Warm demeanor

Attention to detail

Efficient time management

Ability to work independently

Healthcare stipend and 401K available after training period. Hours approximate Mon-Fri 9:00am-2pm, but could be adapted to your needs. Most school holidays will be off, as well as two weeks for the end of year.
