HEAVY MACHINERY SERVICE TECH

California based company in need of a Heavy Machinery Service Tech in the Henderson, Nevada area that works with little supervision in diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing various makes and model bucket trucks, diggers, cranes and other heavy equipment at the customer's site. 40+ hours a week. Some weekends and evenings. A company service truck will be provided to travel to customer sites in the Nevada area.

DUTIES

Administrative: Basic

-Transmits photos, time cards, service reports, and other information

-Maintains good customer records on jobs that have been assigned

-Maintains credit card receipts for accounting purposes

Interpersonal: Intermediate

-Communicates with vendors/office to order parts to complete tasks.

-Communicate with California Headquarters on a daily basis

Technical: Intermediate

-Accurately troubleshoots and repairs units in the field on various make and model bucket trucks, Diggers, Cranes and other heavy duty machinery.

-Reads, understands and applies electrical and hydraulic schematics to repair work

-Safely rigs or hooks components for lifting

-Removes, repairs, and installs major components in varying configurations of equipment

-Maintains tooling in good working order per ANSI and OSHA regulations.

-Makes determinations in the field on warranty repair and guidelines, communicating decisions to customer and dispatcher

-Maintains service vehicle.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education Required:

High school diploma or GED and relevant accredited courses

Minimum Experience Required:

3 + years minimum experience servicing heavy equipment

Certificates, Licenses and

Class C Driver's License
