Accounting Manager

Description We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team in Denver, Colorado. This role involves managing the daily operations of the accounting department, including reconciling banking activities, expense coding, managing cash flow, and overseeing the maintenance of the general ledger. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department. Handle daily banking activities, transfers, postings, and reconciliations. Prepare and maintain month-end work papers, including all relevant general ledger reconciliations and balance sheet supporting schedules. Implement processes, procedures, and internal controls to ensure consistency and integrity of financial statements. Assist in managing cash flow and projections for future forecasts. Ensure compliance with all business taxes and returns. Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger and chart of accounts. Prepare various customized reports and analysis for the management. Supervise and review the functions of the accounting team. Cross train with the transaction closing department and provide backup support. Requirements Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounting Manager role or similar Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential Knowledge of BlackLine is a prerequisite for this role Familiarity with Concur software is necessary Proficient in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems Demonstrable experience in managing Accounting Functions Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management Experience in Auditing is required Must be able to manage Billing Functions effectively.
