Accounting Clerk
Description Sara Walker with Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in BEAVERTON, Oregon, 97008-8833, United States. This role is vital to our operations in the accounting industry, where you will undertake key accounting activities and assist with both monthly and yearly processes.Responsibilities: Handle invoice receipt, approval, and processing in the Accounting System, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Oversee the weekly generation of healthcare claims payments. Generate monthly invoices and corresponding billing and claims history reports as required. Process cash deposits and other receipts within the Accounting System, including customer and provider payments. Manage the generation of the monthly Accounts Receivable Aging Report and ensure timely receipt of payments. Perform reconciliation of accounts receivable and trust accounts, maintaining accurate records. Collaborate with the Sales Department to collect past due accounts. Handle processing of System Refunds and Internal System Refunds in the Accounting System. Use skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Invoice Processing to perform daily tasks and responsibilities.Please contact Sara Walker with Robert Half to review this position. Job Order: 03600-0013073854Requirements Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounting Clerk role or similar position. Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation. Proven experience with Accounts Payable (AP). Skilled in Invoice Processing. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team environment. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Attention to detail and accuracy in all work. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information. Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting principles.
