Our work depends on a Configuration to Governance Manager joining our team to support Federal Electronic Health Record (EHR) Modernization program activities.At GDIT, we put our people first. As a Governance Manager supporting the IHS EHR modernization program, you will be trusted to work on Large Scale Federal Program and support the governance management process.HOW A GOVERNANCE MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Developing a Contractor Governance Management Plan for use by GDIT that aligns with the customer’s PMO governance policies & procedures.
Creating, reviewing, updating and implementing governance management processes or related content.
Advising stakeholders on governance best practices.
Assist in explaining decisions utilizing experience and industry best practice principles
Facilitating the governance decision making process by tracking decisions through the process, communicating to program stakeholders the adjudicated status of decisions, and reporting on key performance indicators to program leadership.
Reviewing the objectives of the enterprise executive alignment activities as represented in the implementation pathway to recommend the approach best suited to fit the government’s need.
Assisting with adapting events, audiences, and deliverables as needed to meet the objectives of the executive alignment plan.
Matching project outcomes with business objectives inclusive of the detailed approach, activities, schedule, scope, success criteria, site resources, and responsibilities required to support the project.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, and work experience.
5 or more years of experience in clinical or Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation/configuration.
Experience with clinical (Ambulatory or Acute) workflows or experience with Health Information Technology (e.g. HL7, IdPs, IAM).
Experience developing governance management plans that align with customer’s policies & procedures.
Experience creating, reviewing, updating and implementing governance management processes.
Experience advising stakeholders on governance best practices.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the year, if needed.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
PMP certification
Experience with Electronic Health Records Management
Oracle Health (Cerner) EHR experience
SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL:
Must be able to obtain a level 5 public trust clearance, which requires residency in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years.
