Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in the manufacturing industry based in Sparks, Nevada. We are seeking an Accounting Clerk who will be instrumental in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The role involves working in a dynamic environment where attention to detail, data entry skills, and confidentiality are of paramount importance.Responsibilities: Accurate data entry of various financial transactions Maintain and update financial records in a timely manner Utilize Microsoft Dynamics D365 for various accounting tasks (not a requirement but a plus) Regularly check and classify incoming documents and receipts for efficient file checks Ensure all financial data maintains standards of confidentiality and privacy Use skills such as Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Data Entry, and Microsoft Excel to perform tasks Collaborate with other departments to ensure all financial documentation is accurate and complete Ensure all financial transactions are processed accurately to maintain consistent and reliable financial records Proactively identify and resolve any discrepancies in financial records.This is a temporary assignment for about three months, if interested apply today!Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential Must have experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is required Proficiency in Data Entry is necessary Must be skilled in Microsoft Excel Candidate should have a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is expected Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the manufacturing industry is required Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary The ability to work independently and as part of a team is important Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software Aptitude for understanding and analyzing financial data High degree of accuracy and attention to detailRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
