Busy Hi-Tech Body Shop Seeks Detail Tech / Porter

Autocraft Bodywerks is the largest family-owned collision repair company in Central Texas. We have expanded from one location to three locations in the past 6 years with a fourth location scheduled to open. With the continued growth we are experiencing we are looking for a talented Detail Technician and Porter to start immediately at our North Austin location.

Job Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 1-2 years-experience as a detailer in a collision center or related field

Must be extremely detail oriented with an eye for excellence

Must be a team player

Must be reliable

Must be able to demonstrate ability to learn new skills on the job

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Perform thorough cleaning

washing, and detailing of vehicles, both interior and exterior

Apply polishing, waxing, and protective coatings to enhance the appearance of vehicles Vacuum, shampoo, and steam clean carpets, upholstery, and other interior surfaces

Drive company vehicle to run shop errands or pick up parts

Drive and/or move customer vehicles as needed

Pick up and deliver cars

Maintain parking lots and grounds in a neat and orderly fashion

Perform minor equipment and building maintenance/repairs as needed

Ensure all guest vehicles are protected for inclement weather

Compensation:

$16.00-$18.00 per hour
