Candy Production Specialist-Holiday Season (2 positions)
Jonboy Caramels a small artisan candy company looking for a highly motivated and competent person to fill a crucial role in the production of our caramels during our busy holiday season.
Job Description:
position # 1:
The position would entail:
-operating our candy wrapping machine (clean and maintain)
-packaging caramels
-assist in cooking and pouring caramel batches
-general cleaning and upkeep
Applicant should:
-care about making a quality product
-have eagerness to help increase efficiency of production
-be flexible and open to suggestions
-be able to work closely with a small workforce (friendly)
-be able to lift at least 60 lb
Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday (9am-5pm) Late October-Mid/Late December
Compensation: $20 per hour plus end of season bonus
Position # 2:
Caramel Sauce Cook:
The position would entail:
-Precise measuring of ingredients
-Cooking caramel sauce batches
-bottling caramel sauce
-cleaning equipment/dishes
Applicant should:
-care about making a quality product
-have eagerness to help increase efficiency of production
-be flexible and open to suggestions
-be able to work closely with a small workforce (friendly)
-be able to lift at least 60 lb
Schedule:
9am-5 pm (Saturdays) Late October-Mid December
Compensation: $20 per hour plus end of season bonus
