Available Positions:
Production Team Members I
(No experience? Will train motivated candidates)
Production Team Members II
(1+ years of machinery, skilled trades, or manufacturing experience)
Preference is given to candidates available to work the night shift
Day Shift: Monday thru Thursday 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Overtime hours may be available on Fridays
Night Shift:Monday thru Thursday5 p.m. - 3:30 a.m. with a $3/hour shift differential
About the Job:
Join our production team and play a crucial role in the production and fabrication of wind turbine blades.
Job Responsibilities:
Manual production processing—fit and assemble parts into complete assembly (such as bolts, screws, shafts or bearings)
Lift, position, and/or remove material from work areas
Load, stack and transport materials by hand, truck, crane or jib
Complete tasks by using small tools
Understand Production Worker Instructions (PWI), drawings, and specifications
Collaborative and effective team player
Manage materialsusing a bridge crane for loading, stacking, and transportation purposes
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required
Work history of at least one year—preferably in manufacturing
Completion of on-the-job training may be substituted for experience requirements
Basic system skills-Microsoft office, SAP and Apriso
Must pass confined spaces test as required
Must be able to pass a respiratory fit test as required
Participate in Vestas Behavioral Change (safety observations) program
Heavy equipment training and certifications for those using cranes, forklifts, jibs, gantries, etc.
