Trailer Mechanic needed for a Trucking Company!

Paragon Freight is seeking a full-time Trailer Mechanic for our Sauk Village, IL location. The open position is on 1st Shift; Monday-Friday; 9am -5:00pm. Your main responsibilities would be working on owned fleet equipment.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:

Conducting maintenance and repairs on Dry-van trailers.

Performing routine inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of trailers.

Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and brake systems on trailers.

Completing preventive maintenance tasks as per schedule.

Documenting all maintenance and repair activities.

Tire and Wheel Maintenance: Inspecting and replacing tires, checking wheel alignment, and balancing tires when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
