African Store - Hiring PT Store Clerk (Cashier Duties Included)
We are a new African store (small convenience/grocery store) hiring for a store clerk. Job responsibilities are as follows:
- Receive customers and assist them with the selection of merchandise as needed.
- Interact with customers using friendly and professional etiquette.
- Greet, interact with, and monitor customers to assist the store in preventing loss.
- Display and organize products in a store for the customers to locate easily
- Help customers with billing and payment processes at the store counter.
- Communicate information about product availability, nutritional information, and ingredients as requested.
- Responding to customers' inquiries and managing orders from our website
- Helping with retouching product images in Adobe Photoshop and uploading them to our website (Will train on the usage of Adobe Photoshop)
- Answering inquiries received via phone.
- Maintain the outlook of the store through dusting, cleaning, and restocking merchandise on the shelves.
- Handle record-keeping and re-ordering systems.
- Help with preparation for displays, trade shows, and windows.
- Manage social media accounts
- Attend to other duties as assigned.
This store is located in Spring Lake Park, MN. And this is a 1099 job.
Job Requirements:
-Must speak English
-Must be able to interact in a friendly manner with individuals from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds
-Desired but not required: Store experience
- Must be a self-starter & be able to work independently
- You must be able to pass a complete background check!
Available Work Hours (There is flexibility here. Can further discuss):
- SHIFT OPTION # 1:
Monday: 10AM - 6 PM
Tuesday: 10AM - 6 PM
Thursday: 10AM - 6 PM
Saturday: As needed
