Dental Assistant

A growing westside ABQ dental office is searching for Dental Assistants. Details are below:

DENTAL ASSISTANT:

The dental assistant is primarily responsible for assisting the dentist in the direct provision of dental services to patients of the practice. Pay rate is based on experience level. This is an at-will employment position.

Dental Assistant position qualifications:

Prior DA experience strongly preferred, but will consider recent graduates from Dental Assisting programs.

Active DANB certification required (must have license and DANB already or will have within one month)

CPR Certified

Must be available to work 1-3 days per week, 4-6 hours per day. (Friday would be ideal, but we have some flexibility)

Bilingual (Spanish) strongly desired

General familiarity with Dental Management Software in a near paperless office

Professional and motivated

Positive attitude

Team oriented

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with patients, doctor and team members.

Aware of Sterilization, Preparation practices for common procedures.

Able and willingtolearn

Prefer full-time, but may consider part time. Also may have hours available at an upcoming Rio Rancho location.
