Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will oversee the configuration and design of both LAN and WAN networks, maintain hardware and software components, and monitor the network for issues. You will also work closely with vendors and operations staff, ensuring the smooth running of our networks and maintaining our commitment to outstanding service.Responsibilities: Oversee the configuration and design of the company's LAN and WAN networks Maintain the hardware and software components of LAN and WAN switches, routers, and other associated equipment Monitor the network for issues and work with operations staff and vendor support for remediation Evaluate network needs and collaborate with vendors on network-related Hardware/Software/Services solutions Monitor company networks for any issues that may affect the ability to provide outstanding guest service Configure and maintain any software or hardware solutions used in the monitoring of or remediation of network issues Report any incidents of network outage or vulnerability to company management Advise company management on remediation of issues and best practices Recommend additions or modifications to company network security policies Enforce company network security initiatives and report unauthorized network usage and security problems Ensure that access, including remote access, to the network or its components is granted only to authorized personnel and that access logs are maintained and reviewed.
