Description HYBRID work schedule | Open to Full-Time or Part-Time hours | No Fridays during summer We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join a local CPA firm. he role primarily involves handling full-charge bookkeeping and accounting for multiple companies, ensuring accurate maintenance of financial records, and preparing financial information for annual tax returns. It is imperative that someone have experience handling accounting functions for multiples companies. Responsibilities Handle the maintenance of QuickBooks for various companies Conduct General Ledger (GL) account reconciliations meticulously Review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance Prepare financial information required for annual tax returns Work with multiple companies, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail Utilize MS Excel skills for financial data analysis and presentation Process and record journal entries as required Reconcile accounts at the end of each month Use QuickBooks Online for various accounting processes Address and resolve customer inquiries related to accounting issuesRequirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in the accounting field Proficiency in MS Excel required Experience with Month End Close processes is essential Knowledge of QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online software Strong skills in account reconciliation Familiarity with creating and managing journal entries A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks effectively Strong problem-solving skills Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices Experience with financial reporting and financial analysis Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
