Experienced Maintenance person

Seeking qualified 40 hour/week experienced Maintenance person. Strong interpersonal skills, with general plumbing, electrical, and equipment maintenance knowledge.

Required Knowledges, Abilities and Skills:

 Demonstrated knowledge of building, facilities, utilities, grounds and landscaping maintenance, operations and construction practices and methods.

 Demonstrated knowledge of standard skilled trades operations and repair methods and the materials and tools used in landscaping, grounds and building work.

 Knowledge of Department of Labor and Industries requirements (LNI) and Federal, State and County legislation applicable to the work.

 Understands activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.

 Ability to ensure that all work is performed safely in compliance with LNI regulations.

 Ability to inspect building maintenance and construction work for adherence to plans and specifications and tender/quote documents.

 Ability to relate effectively with staff, the Board, members, guests, contractors and other service providers.

 Excellent oral and written communication skill and knowledge and the ability to use common office software in preparing and completing required documentation.

 Ability to perform physical laboring tasks that require bending, lifting and stretching.

 Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision.

 Reliable transportation.

 A valid Driver’s license.
