Patrol Officers with Baton and Pepper Spray - $19.50 to $20 per hour

$19.50 to $20/hour - these Patrol Officers are generally offered this pay based on experience and qualifications

Earn up to $21 per hour with the additional $1 per hour night shift or weekend shift differential.

Overtime hours are always available

Double-time pay for holiday hours worked

Annual pay increases

These are training roles for Armed Patrol positions:

Employees in these roles receive on the job training.

Must possess a baton and pepper spray when hired, and a firearm at 6 months after hire date

These officers handle non-emergency routine patrol in our client neighborhoods

Schedule:

Patrol is 24/7 with two consecutive days off during the week

Must be able to work weekend hours

Day, swing and graveyard shifts

Benefits:

Medical/Dental/Vision, Disability and Life, 16 days of paid time off in the first year and 401k with up to a 5% company match

Locations: These positions are available in the San Fernando Valley and the west side of Los Angeles

Required Qualifications:

CA Driver’s License

CA Guard Card or ability to obtain one prior to starting work

3 years of driving experience

Baton certificate AND pepper spray permits

Excellent English written and verbal communication skills and experience working with the public

Must be able to pass a drug test and a Livescan background check from the DOJ and FBI

Note: Qualified candidates with criminal histories will be considered per The County of Los Angeles Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers (FCO)
