We are primarily an installation firm but are slowly making the transition into the realm of commercial cabinetry. I.e. European laminate cabinets for medical, dental, and recreational settings. We are licensed in California and Oregon.

Requirements for job are as follows.

1. Experience & Skills:

- Knowledge of cabinetry, millwork, and construction materials.

- Experience in sales and customer service.

- Familiarity with design software (CAD, 20-20) or project estimation tools.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to read blueprints and interpret architectural drawings.

- Knowledge of industry standards and ADA compliance.

- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurements for accurate estimates.

- Project management skills to coordinate installations.

2. Education & Licensing:

- High school diploma or equivalent (some employers may prefer a degree in construction management, business, or a related field).

- Relevant certifications in cabinetry, carpentry, or estimating are a plus.

- Valid driver's license.

3. Physical Requirements:

- Ability to visit job sites and take accurate measurements.

Job Duties

1. Sales & Client Consultation:

- Meet with clients to understand their needs and preferences for cabinetry projects.

- Present product options, finishes, and design ideas to match client requirements.

- Seek out new clients for both the installation only aspect as well as new cabinetry.

- Create proposals and quotes based on client specifications.

- Manage relationships with contractors, builders, and homeowners to secure new projects.

2. Estimating & Costing:

- Measure job sites and review project drawings to estimate labor and material costs.

- Calculate timeframes, materials, and labor required for installation.

- Create detailed bids or quotes for cabinetry installation projects.

- Adjust estimates based on changes in materials or scope of work.

3. Project Management:

- Coordinate with the production or installation teams to ensure accurate project execution.

- Schedule installations, order materials, and monitor project timelines.

- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on the status of their projects.

4. Site Visits & Measurements:

- Conduct site visits to measure spaces, ensuring cabinetry fits correctly.

- Inspect job sites before and after installation to ensure quality standards.

This role requires both technical knowledge and strong sales skills, blending customer service with project expertise to ensure successful cabinetry installations.
