SummaryAssociate Media DirectorWe are looking for an Associate Media Director to join our growing Media Team!The Associate Media Director role will develop and manage the day-to-day media strategy, planning and execution of all assigned client programs, working across a mix of awareness and performance marketing media channels within both traditional and digital media. They will assume responsibility for day-to-day campaign management as well as maintaining positive relationships with clients and our creative, strategy and technology teams. The Associate Media Director will work in close partnership with our account, analytics, strategy, creative, and programmatic teams to develop programs that drive business outcomes for our clients.Requirements/Skills:
6-8 years of media experience overseeing strategies across channels and teams
Experience working within an integrated media team across digital and traditional media
Experience in client-facing environments and serving as media lead
Experience managing a team of 2+ media professionals
Demonstrated ability to execute high-impact marketing campaigns that exceed client KPI’s
Familiarity with both brand and performance media KPIs
Able to consistently produce results while meeting deadlines and juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge and expertise of ad serving and tracking platforms such as Google Campaign Manager
Strong PowerPoint skills required as well as demonstrated ability to create client ready presentations
Knowledge of comScore, Ad Intel and Simmons as well as other media planning and competitive tools a plus
Proficiency in Excel and experience working with an advanced analytics team preferred
BA/BS in marketing communications or related field
Responsibilities :
Oversee day-to-day client planning teams to develop media strategy and plans against client objectives
Manage a team of media supervisors, media planners and media coordinators within AMP’s Media Team
Oversee development of media strategies and plans for assigned books of business
Oversee development of RFPs and selection of media partners for media plans
Present client presentations and serve as a day-to-day media contact for assigned clients
Work with key client contacts on deliverables and timelines to ensure internal team is set up for success
Partner with Media Leadership on planning updates and team management
Partner with analytics on insights generation for campaign performance, ensuring agency story-telling aligns with client’s business KPIs
Verify all planning materials such as flowcharts and digital schedules are up to date prior to submission to Media Leadership and Clients
Work with internal programmatic team to develop applicable audience and data strategies
Oversee the creation, and presentation of media strategies and media plans to client
Sign-off on workflow processes for campaign launch, reporting, optimization and financial reconciliation
Work with internal finance team on invoice reconciliation processes, ensuring key timelines are being met
Lead communication with external agency partners of our clients, ensuring creative and media strategies are integrated
Work with internal planning team to develop custom, bespoke partnerships with media partners

Drive innovation and thought leadership of company's media channel.
Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables.
Assume responsibility for the growth and vitality of media practice and of your clients’ business.
Develop and/or approve direction of RFPs that lead publishers in devising innovative approaches to meeting campaign objectives and delivering value.
Ensure accurate record keeping and finances on all accounts.
Work with cross-functional departments to ensure flawless execution.
Review final reconciliation of campaign and authorize client refunds if appropriate.

Strong understanding of both awareness and performance digital media channels and strategies, including display, mobile, video, paid search, programmatic and social media
Previous success in the planning, development and management of digital media campaigns for brands or products
Experience with DoubleClick and other 3rd party tracking solutions preferred
Experience with the following technology platforms preferred (Self-Serve Programmatic DSPs, DFA, Facebook UI/FBX)
Ability to analyze data and deeply understanding of measurement practices, 3rd party measurement companies and web analytics
Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects simultaneously
Proven client service orientation with strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective presentation skills
Ability to consistently perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment as an individual on a team
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated interest in keeping up with emerging technologies and digital marketing trends
