IT Support Engineer
Description We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our team in the legal industry located in New York. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining technology systems, providing expert support for Microsoft Office Suite, and managing commonly used legal applications. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in IT support, particularly within a large law firm setting.Responsibilities: Ensure the optimal functioning of technology systems within the law firm Provide expert support for Microsoft Office 2013/2016/2019/365 suite, particularly Word Troubleshoot and resolve Citrix performance and connectivity issues Manage and support commonly used legal applications including document management systems, legal template and numbering software, document comparison software, timekeeping software, and Adobe Acrobat detail oriented Provide expert support for Microsoft Windows operating system Manage customer inquiries and maintain accurate customer records Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently Maintain accurate customer credit records Utilize skills in Citrix, Microsoft Windows, Mobile Device Management, and Microsoft Office 365 for daily tasks and projects. Requirements Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT Support Engineer role, preferably within the legal industry Demonstrated proficiency in Citrix, Microsoft Windows, Mobile Device Management, and Microsoft Office 365 Strong understanding of IT hardware and software troubleshooting Relevant certifications in IT, networking, or related fields are preferred Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with staff and vendors Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Must be willing to keep up-to-date with advancements in technology Familiarity with data privacy regulations and cybersecurity best practices is advantageous Previous experience in training or mentoring staff in IT usage is a plus Must be able to provide after-hours support as needed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
