Fleet Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure our vehicles and trailers are kept in top condition.Job Description: We are seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on our fleet of trucks and trailers. The ideal candidate should have a background in maintenance and repair, with a focus on ensuring vehicle safety. Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventive maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and trailers, including but not limited to, oil changes, greasing, tire rotations, and brake inspections.

Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.

Replace or repair faulty components such as brakes, bearings, and seals.

Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.

Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed.

Mount and dismount tires.

Collaborate with other team members.

Be able to clean up between jobs and during downtime keeping the shop in an orderly fashion.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge of diesel engines and applicable systems.

Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions.

Will be required to reach, climb, twist, crouch, kneel or stoop to perform job duties.

Must be able to safely work in all weather conditions.

Background in trucking is preferred, but not necessary.
