A postdoctoral position is available in the molecular and cellular cancer biology laboratory of Dr. Wei Li in the Department of Pediatrics at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine located at Hershey, Pennsylvania. We are interested in studying intercellular interactions during tissue homeostasis and determining how de-regulated interactions among cells promote cell transformation and tumor progression. The goal of our research is to find molecular targets and biomarkers for cancer therapy. We integrate molecular, cellular, and biochemical approaches in combination with mouse tumorigenesis models. Currently, one of our major focuses is studying the impact of immune cells on tumor microenvironment in glioma malignant transformation. For more information of Dr. Li's laboratory, please refer to: https://sites.psu.edu/weililab/.We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with strong interests in the molecular basis of cancer.
