Who we are:
Critical Mass Selections is a NYC based distributor of Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese natural wine. We are a scrupulously selected portfolio of small, family-run wineries who focus on cultivating and producing delicious, clean natural wines with roots in old word tradition. Critical Mass Selections has been operating for over 12 years and continues to bring in some of the best natural wines in the US.
Who we are seeking:
We are seeking a full-time lead sales representative for Manhattan & Brooklyn. An interest and passion for natural wine is an absolute must. The territory includes many established accounts, with room to grow both on and off-premise sales. Compensation is commission based, with a monthly base salary and health benefits . An annual trip to Europe is included with this position fully covered by the company.
We are looking for someone who is hungry to establish and grow sales in their territory. You will be a part of a small team who will share guidance and support, but you need to be highly self-motivated and able to structure your time effectively. You will be hired to manage and grow pre-existing accounts, over 70 active, open new accounts, and deliver excellent customer service. This position will lead to a managerial position as the owner steps away from direct local sales to focus on sourcing and national sales.
Who you are:
-You are someone who has wine knowledge and is willing and motivated to learn more.
-You have prior wine sales experience and relationships with existing accounts in Manhattan & Brooklyn. A knowledge of how to strategize to generate sales is a must.
-You are goal oriented and motivated to challenge yourself.
-You are proficient in G-Suite/Excel to keep yourself organized and streamlined.
-You have a professional demeanor in person and on the page.
-You are able to visit accounts 4 days a week, with 1 administrative day.
-Must have reliable transportation. A car is preferred but not required.
