Serve as a cross-functional and highly collaborative technical resource to other divisions within Information Technology related to topics such as application installation/delivery, networks, disaster recovery, authentication, and cloud computing.

Facilitate or be a member of technical project teams comprised of internal and vendor representatives focused on evaluating, planning, developing, and implementing technical initiatives.

Work with EHR/RCM system technical support teams and vendors to design, implement, and maintain processes that proactively monitor the health and availability of the environment.

Present the status of projects and issues as needed with Information Technology and Practice leadership.

Serve on the division Architecture Board as a consulting resource for the designing and planning of projects.

Lead planned Epic maintenance activities including monthly production maintenance windows and planned downtimes.

The ideal candidate will have prior Epic experience with the technical services/hosting support of Epic environments and infrastructure. This role will report to the ERIS Technology Services Section Head.This is a full time remote position. Incumbent must live within the United States. Mayo Clinic will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position including F1 OPT STEM.QualificationsBachelor’s degree and 8 years’ experience including 5 years’ of demonstrated technical experience and 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience OR Associates Degree and 10 years' experience including 5 years’ of demonstrated technical experience and 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience. Often moves among different work areas and seeks to do so. Demonstrated project and deliverable consistency through repeatable and reliable performance. Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation to complete tasks and assignments on time. Proven evidence of project management skills. Demonstrated oral and written communication, organization, problem solving, and facilitation skills. Evidence of mastery level expertise in multiple technologies. Demonstrated ability in solving complex technical problems with multiple technologies. Experience working in healthcare technology. Exposure to managing both custom developed and vendor-supplied applications.
