Service Technician for Polaris Dealership
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team at Iron City Polaris in Phoenix. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality repairs and maintenance of machinery and components. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of the Service Foreman and General Manager to deliver exceptional service and maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Repair & Maintenance
o Recondition and repair equipment components and systems.
o Plan and execute repair methods efficiently, ensuring safe and effective results.
o Order and manage parts and materials required for assigned tasks.
o Complete all repairs promptly and to high-quality standards.
o Return all unused parts and materials in a timely manner.
o Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Record-Keeping & Documentation
o Keep detailed and accurate records of time, parts, and supplies used.
o Ensure all records are clear, legible, and in compliance with company standards.
Tool & Equipment Care
o Maintain and care for all shop tools, equipment, and vehicles.
o Ensure all tools, supplies, and equipment are cleaned and returned to their designated locations.
Professional Communication
o Communicate effectively and respectfully with clients, co-workers, and manufacturer representatives.
o Ensure all interactions are conducted with honesty and professionalism.
Adherence to Policies
o Follow all policies and procedures outlined in the Iron City employee manual (provided upon hire).
Customer Service & Relations
o Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relations with fellow employees.
Transport Responsibilities
o Safely transport units between locations as required.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Experience hauling a trailer.
Ability to lift up to 65lbs.
Willingness to participate in daily location setup duties.
Punctuality and strong time management.
Personal set of tools.
Ability to pass a drug screening.

Education/Training/Experience:
Basic experience in mechanical repairs and maintenance.

Strong mechanical aptitude and skills for repairs on off-road vehicles.
