Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in an exciting industry, based in ITASCA, Illinois, United States. The role involves leading our Human Resources (HR) department, developing and implementing HR policies, and managing employee relations. As a Human Resources (HR) Manager, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including staffing and recruitment, performance management, and compliance with HR policies and procedures. M-F- on site.Recruiter: Connie StathopoulosResponsibilities: Develop, implement, and evaluate the company's HR policies and procedures. Engage with hiring managers to understand and implement staffing plans. Provide daily HR support including employee relations, staffing and recruitment, performance management, and compliance with HR policies and procedures. Counsel employees and managers on performance and behavior issues, terminations, demotions, work improvement and disciplinary actions, policy practice, and interpretation. Conduct investigations into complaints, harassment, integrity violations, retaliation, and performance concerns. Deliver key HR initiatives including compliance, corporate culture, and training. Maintain strong knowledge of Illinois state and Federal employment practices, policies, legal & EEOC guidelines, as well as compensation, wage and hour, and benefits administration. Develop and facilitate training strategies to meet employee needs including supervisory training and skill development. Continually monitor and maintain company policies and procedures, staying current on relevant legal issues relating to employmentRequirements Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.

Minimum 5+ years relevant HR experience, preferably as a manager or high performing HR generalist with an emphasis in employee relations and client based work

Progressive Human Resource experience.

Ability to interface effectively with all levels of employees, managers and executives

Strong persuasion and conflict resolution skills required

Must be detail-oriented and organized, with excellent follow-through and analytical skills

Must have ability to execute both strategic and tactical priorities

Must be able to work independently with the ability to juggle priorities and manage time to effectively meet deadlines

Experience with Excel, Microsoft Office Suite preferred

Sense of humor appreciated, quick thinking and approachable nature needed

Ability to work in a diverse, fast paced but rewarding environment

HR Fundamentals –core knowledge of and ability to collaborate with all areas within HR.

Communication Skills – excellent verbal communication skills and have proven ability to modify communication style/approach based on audience.
