CLIENT OVERVIEW:
Our client is a rapidly growing organization in the logistics industry that is hiring for a Junior Accounting Analyst. This company has a great work environment and is looking for a candidate with general accounting knowledge and experience.
SALARY/HOURLY RATE:
$24/hr - $25/hr
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Junior Accounting Analyst will report to the Senior Accountant and the Accounting team. Our client is ideally looking for someone willing to learn and take on new responsibilities and prepared to demonstrate their accounting skills. Those who acquire this role must be communicative, hardworking, and reliable. This Junior Accounting Analyst position is a great opportunity for those looking to learn and demonstrate their experience in accounting. An analytical and motivated mindset is a huge plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JUNIOR ACCOUNTING ANALYST:
A/P and A/R responsibilities.
Collections.
Preparing and posting entries; assisting with MEC.
Assist with the coordination of financial audits.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and projections.
Processing Invoices.
General Ledger and Reconciliations.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JUNIOR ACCOUNTING ANALYST:
Experience with ERP systems and applicable Accounting/Financial software.
1 - 3 years of experience.
Team player.
Analytical.
Proficient in Excel (pivot tables & v-look ups).
General Accounting/ AR/AP is a huge plus!
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance/related field.
