Prep Cook

We're looking for an "EXPERIENCED" Professional Line/Prep Cook with "STRONG" overall kitchen skills for a take out restaurant located in West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia, duties will include but not limited to: setting up a line and helping set the stations behind the line, prep with food to be put out on the line, vegetables, meats etc., use of Deep Fryers, knowledge of oven temps, warmers etc., Occasional customer service with greeting customers, taking food orders, preparing food platters, keeping the line clean and presentable.

"DEPENDABILITY" is a MUST "Frequent" Call outs, LAST MINUTE no shows will Absolutely NOT be acceptable and will lead to loss of job QUICK Person must be capable of working Independently, with little to no supervision and able to follow verbal instructions easily.

HOURS of operation are: Thursday thru Sunday 1pm till 8:00pm, (Wednesday is our Prep day and the hours are typically 12pm to 6pm, but are otherwise flexible). Must be comfortable handling and lifting heavy food trays, cooking pots, etc,. Looking for someone Able to start "ASAP" Starting pay is $17 an hour dependent on experience and skill set, pay is BI WEEKLY.
