Tancho is Austin’s newest and most exciting sushi restaurant, and we’re looking for passionate individuals for a Kitchen Prep / Beginner Sushi position. You’ll play an essential role in ensuring everything runs smoothly, while gaining hands-on experience with sushi preparation as we bring our fresh concept to life.

We are looking to bring a high-quality, delicious, multi-course sushi experience to our customers. Positions Available: We are currently hiring full- and part-time Kitchen Prep / Beginner Sushi Positions to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Always maintain a clean work environment.
Set up workstations properly.
Make a prepare sushi rice.
Maintain all sushi equipment.
Prepare meal orders as they are placed.
Work closely with other team members to ensure a cohesive, efficient work environment.
Clean the kitchen as needed.
Follow proper food handling procedures.
Qualifications:
Willingness to work collaboratively with other staff members.
Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle unexpected challenges.
Physical stamina to stand, move for extended periods.
Constantly maintaining required levels of cleanliness.
Good attitude towards others.
Willing to work hard to continue to learn new aspects of the job as they arise.
Experience and Training:
Experience is preferred but not required: we are open to training and teaching all required technical skills.
High Character, good attitude, and a positive team-orientated mindset are essential.
Pay and Schedule:
Hourly Pay: $15-17 per hour (rates depend on store monthly covers).
Full-Time: 30-40 hours a week
Part-Time: 10-30 hours a week
Longer (up to 12 hours) and shorter (6 hours or less) shifts will be available.
Periodic breaks will be given based on hours worked.
