Company Description
CRU Lounge North Houston is Bar, Lounge and Full Kitchen. We cater to night life in the area. The menu is primarily made of chef inspired American dishes. Hours are weekdays 4 PM to 2 AM and weekends 12 PM - 2 AM. The candidate with be a member of the cooking team. The candidate should be able to run a small kitchen alone, after menu training.
Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role as a Cook at CRU Lounge North Houston located in Jersey Village, TX. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring food quality and presentation meet the standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace.

Additional reference of duties
Must arrive an hour prior to opening and clock in on the POS terminal. Once clocked in, they must wash their hands thoroughly, put on hair/beard net, apron or chef's jacket and remove hotdog toppings from the cooler.
● Check inventory for products and ingredients
● All toppings should be sealed neatly in time stamped containers (if closing procedures are implemented, most of the garnishes should be prepped for the day).
● Equipment must be turned on (Flat Top, Stove, Oven ,Deep fryer and grill)
● Prep and condiment containers must be arranged neatly on prep stations for quick & easy access.
● Make sure printer/expo screen is on and has paper
● Warming lamps should be turned on 15 minutes prior to doors opening to customers.
● Discard any unlabeled containers storing food items, ensuring the cooler is always at the proper temperature of 38 degrees Fahrenheit. No items should be uncovered in any cooler, those items must be discarded immediately and the area surrounding sanitized.
● Keep each type of meat protein stored in separate containers to avoid cross- contamination.
● All sauces must be stored in a clean, labeled container for quick and easy access.
