Call Mom is currently seeking a General Manager at their latest concept, La Dolce Vita, an acclaimed, upscale homage to the classic Italian-American restaurant.Responsibilities: -This role requires very heavy involvement in guest experience curation and reservations book management. -Ensures all guests are greeted warmly and hospitably, reviews the reservation book to ensure bookings are maximized and all “VIPs” are noted -Develops and fosters guest relationships and clientele-Responds to guest emails and phone calls in a timely manner-Hire and properly on-board all employees-Oversee training, coaching, discipline and termination of FOH staff-Approves and submits daily and bi-weekly payroll -Upholds service standards—including ordering supplies, repairs and equipment maintenance, sanitation, ticket times, food quality, customer-facing review sites and overall customer satisfaction -Liaises with Call Mom ownership with respect to outlet design aesthetics -Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs -Ensure that all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures -Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness and maintenance, proper uniforms and appearance standards -Investigate and respond to guest complaints, both in-person and online, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests -Investigate and respond to all employee complaints, referring to HR or ownership as needed -Manage shifts which include: daily decision making, scheduling, planning while ensuring consistent high quality of food preparation and service -Conduct regular team meetings and administers counseling when necessary-Physically tour and inspect the property on a daily basis, monitoring condition and cleanliness-Comply with local, state and federal health department and labor standards Qualifications: -Maitre D’ experience is preferred -Successful candidates will be energetic, poised and have a great sense of personal style -Able to work nights, weekends and holidays-High School diploma (bachelor’s degree preferred) and a minimum of 3-5 years of applicable restaurant and/or hospitality management experience-Capable of setting priorities, planning, organizing, delegating, and controlling processes-Flexibility and openness to change course according to the needs of the business-Excellent communications and interpersonal skills-Strong management, organizational, and data analysis skillsSalary Range $100-110k, Potential Bonuses, Paid Time Off, Employee Discounts For consideration please submit a resume in PDF format.
