Santa Teresa Dental in Morgan Hill is a high-quality private general dental office. Our emphasis is on sedation, cosmetic & implant dentistry. We see kids too! Hygienists care for patients over 13 years old. We provide professional training and plenty of continuing education opportunities. We believe in employee welfare and are a strong believer of team work.

JOB SUMMARY

Utilize the latest dental technology to perform all hygienist duties. Perform high quality periodontal therapy and support doctor’s treatment. Be mindful of the practice’s growth and productivity by following the soft tissue management protocol.

A successful candidate should have the following qualifications:

Active dental hygiene license

Soft tissue management training such as laser therapy is preferred but not necessary

Provide high quality periodontal work with patient comfort in mind

Great understanding of dental treatments, materials and patient dental needs

Good communication skills to support doctor treatment

Thorough understanding of continuing care system

Ability to establish rapport with patient within 5 minutes

Ability to ease pt uneasiness with warm and caring demeanor

Strong believer of team concept

Possess active and sympathetic listening skill

Be dedicated and a self-starter

Not afraid to tell people unpleasant things

Ability to bounce back after rejection

Okay with being told what to do

Okay with being interrupted in the middle of treatment

Flexible and cooperative
