Seeking Experienced, Bilingual (Spanish), Immigration Paralegal

Our law office represents immigrants and their families in both routine and complex immigration and deportation defense matters.

::Opportunity::

We are seeking to hire a bilingual (fluent in English/Spanish) paralegal with 2/3 years of prior immigration law experience. You should be familiar with immigration forms such as I-130, I-360, I-589, 42-B, I-485, I765, as well as the immigration court process and immigration court practice manual.

::Primary Duties::

Drafting various immigration forms on behalf of clients;

Gathering and submitting supporting evidence ahead of hearings;

Managing deadlines and responding to court scheduling orders and requests for evidence.

::Skills::

Our ideal candidate is very well organized, team/goal oriented, comfortable multi-tasking and working under pressure, takes pride in their work, and genuinely enjoys helping those less fortunate.

Experienced with Microsoft Word/Excel, Adobe Acrobat and Google Office Suite.

Bilingual (Spanish) - you should be fluent or a native speaker able to read/write and speak Spanish.

::Compensation::

$20-30/hr commensurate with experience. Flexible hours. Paid vacation time. Pension Plan.

This is an onsite FT position.

Our office is located in a modern 24/7 doorman building in Kew Gardens, Queens. The building is adjacent to the E/F subway stop for Union Turnpike/Kew Gardens.
