Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled accountant with trucking/transportation business experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, accounting principles, and financial software. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will contribute to the company's financial success.
Duties:
-Perform general accounting duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing. Also also to lern about dispatcking
-Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
-Conduct account analysis and reconciliation
-Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
-Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
-Utilize financial software for data analysis and reporting
Requirements:
-Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
-Strong financial acumen and understanding of corporate finance principles
-Proficiency in financial report interpretation and writing
-Familiarity with securities law is a plus
-Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
-Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance would be preffered, but is not necessary
